Austrian operator OMV and its partners in the Wisting oil discovery in Norway's Barents Sea waters are set to choose between three floater options for development of the field, which could hold 500 million barrels or more of oil.
Having initially studied about 10 different development options, the licence partners have now pushed the project through to a final concept screening phase.
