Production from Kristin is set to kick off on schedule on 1 October this year, but only at about 4.5 million cubic metres per day. This is far below the 18 MMcmd outlined in the original plan, a level that the Norwegian operator now does not expect to reach until next summer.
Sources said the delay could equate to postponed revenues in the range of Nkr2 billion to Nkr3 billion for Statoil and its partners.
