Aberdeen-based Wood Group PSN is leading the way with plans to cut earnings for 1600 onshore contract workers by one tenth.
Rival Amec also announced a pay review of onshore and offshore contractor staff based out of its Aberdeen offices. Other UK contractors, including Petrofac, have yet to confirm if they are considering similar action.
Wood Group PSN said it will implement a 10% rate reduction to its UK-based onshore limited contract workers from 1 June.
