UK engineering giant Wood Group has confirmed it is carrying out concept definition work on the proposed offshore facilities for the Scarborough gas project off Western Australia.
The contract was secured through a master services agreement between Wood and Scarborough operator Woodside Petroleum.
The concept definition work applies to the planned semi-submersible production platform, subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines, flow assurance and overall system integration, said the UK contractor.
