Japanese floater specialist Modec was this week confirmed as the winner of a contract from Woodside Petroleum to supply a floating production, storage and offloading unit for the Australian independent’s SNE oil development off Senegal.
The offshore contractor landed the deal to carry out front-end engineering and design work on the floater, with the deal to lead to a full contract to supply, charter and operate the FPSO in the Sangomar Deep Offshore area.
