Australia's Woodside has been forced to extend a turnaround of its Pluto LNG project until the end of this month after facing a restart issue on the liquefied natural gas facility's mixed refrigerant compressor.
Woodside said its Pluto maintenance turnaround, which began in April or May, was completed as planned but the mixed refrigerant compressor "experienced vibration on restart".
Further activities are necessary to achieve the restart of production, targeted for the end of June.
