The explorer’s project management contractor for Bentley is UK engineering specialist Amec, with Norway’s Aibel working on the engineering, procurement and construction parameters for the Arup-designed platform. The contractors are now working on optimising the self-installing Arup concept elevating platform design for the field, following the completion of conceptual design and assurance.
Arup oil and gas leader Rob Duffin claimed the company’s platform design is an efficient and cost-effective solution for Bentley.
