A drone attack claimed by Iran-allied Houthi rebels in Yemen struck gas processing facilities at Saudi Arabia’s remote Shaybah field, causing a fire that was quickly brought under control.
Saudi Aramco said the attack did not disrupt operations at the field which is capable of producing 1 million barrels per day of oil.
"Saudi Aramco's response team controlled a limited fire this morning at the Shaybah natural gas liquefaction facility," the state company said.
