Malaysian floater specialist Yinson is in talks with Chinese yard CIMC Raffles about construction planning for the Marlim-2 floating production, storage and offloading vessel as it works with Brazilian operator Petrobras towards finalising a commercial contract in the next month or so, writes Xu Yihe.
Industry sources suggested that teams from the floater provider and the operator have been holding final clarification talks and are aiming to sign a deal in October.
