Operator Roc Oil said Zhaodong’s output was 9130 barrels per day in December, down from an average of 18,900 bpd in the second half of last year.
The company said several factors caused the drop, including intensive well maintenance activities and ongoing repairs to a failed subsea power cable.
Ongoing severe weather since late December has also hit production, with interruptions to crude shipments constraining output this month, the company added.
