The new six-kilometre route via the Rev field, with onward export to the Armada field off the UK, will facilitate commercial exploitation of associated gas from the oilfield that has previously been reinjected into the reservoir.
Subsea 7 last year won the $60 million contract to build and install the pipeline, as well as a flexible riser system for the field.
