Elia Massa Manik has been ousted as president director of Pertamina, Indonesia’s national oil and gas company, little more than 12 months into the job.
Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno removed Elia Massa from the helm of Pertamina in a management shake-up that followed a series of problems including the company’s recent oil spill in Balikpapan Bay.
Nicke Widyawati, Pertamina’s director of human resources, has taken over as interim president director awaiting a formal replacement for Elia Massa.
